  1. With havin so much written content do you ever run
into any problems of plagorism or copyright violation?
My site has a lot of completely unique content I’ve either created myself or outsourced but it seems a lot of it is popping it up all over the web without my permission. Do you know any methods to help stop content from being ripped off? I’d certainly appreciate

    • Reader,

You bring up a wonderful topic. I do not know of any way to stop people from using your content unless you have copyrighted it. You can tell them, politely, to remove your content because you didn’t give permission.

With my blog, my adjective is to get you to click on the link that will take you to my website (wwww.booksbysteph.com). You will find a page of the copyright law. On my website, I give everything I use their dues. Where I took pictures from, where I took information from. If I write a line from a book, I put it in quotes so the reader knows they’re not my words. I find all the copyright information I can and I include it on every page of my website. As a back-up, because you never know, I keep Microsoft Word pages with the same information, as well as hand written notes. If you look at the very bottom of my website, I have a little note that states, “I give credit where credit is needed. I pray you do the same.”

Stealing information and saying it is your own is against the law. That is why I do everything possible to give credit and if I don’t find anything, I say just that. I’m sorry I cannot be of more help to you. I wish you luck in your continued search for answers. Let me know if you find anything out.

      Thank you for writing!

Until next time, live life one page at a time!
