The Written Word

You all know how much I love books. I have this blog that leads to my website (www.booksbysteph.com) as a testament to my love of the written word and the promotion of a lot of indie authors as well as mainstream authors (and letting you know who to stay away from). Recently have have been getting a lot of praise for my blog (I hope you check out my website) and I do not want that to go unnoticed. My appreciation, not that you love me. I put a lot of work into my website. I call this blog my gloss and my website is the lipstick. This is a tiny teaser to make you click my links.

While I am very proud of my website and the work and time I put into it, I am biased. I don’t know if I’m doing any good unless someone out in Internet land is decent and makes positive comments. The world is so full of anger and judgement and high-and-mighties who think they can belittle people so they feel powerful and better about themselves. I’m proud that my readers are like me – people who call store managers to rave about the great customer service, not to complain. It warms my heart to know that there still good people in the world. I know that there are but you have reservations until you see / feel it.

You have really made me feel wonderful in a time of stress (so many books to read, not enough time). It makes the stress worth it and I’m happy to be stressed out now because you are reading my words. Recommendations and word-of-mouth makes my heart go pity-pat because those are the best forms of advertising. While I am promoting authors, you are promoting me. That’s a wonderful feeling!

So thank you for reading my gloss and I hope you click over to http://www.booksbysteph.com. You can also find my reviews on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Goodreads, Twitter and Pintrest. And if you have a few moments to spare, head over to FaceBook and ‘like’ booksbysteph (I’ll have a giveaway when I have 100 likes).

Until next time, live life one page at a time!
